 Verizon unveils ZTE’s AD3700 USB Global Modem

 ZTE’s AD3700, a combined product of Verizon Wireless and ZTE USA has recently been introduced by Verizon. The ZTE AD3700 is a mobile broadband with USB modem (optional) global connectivity, designed specially for people who frequently travel to different places, which is a customer friendly.

The AD3700 helps users in carrying the modem along with themselves wherever they travel and always facilitates them with high-speed network connectivity in more than 175 destinations. Including Evolution-Data Optimized (EV-DO), Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) /General Packet Radio Service (GPRS)/Enhanced Data Rates for Global Evolution (EDGE) and High Speed Packet Access (HSPA)/Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) wireless platforms.

The modem weighs around 45.35gms, with measurements 3.1″(H) x 1.7″(W) x 0.5″(D) and has a Swivel hinge USB and provides a 2.0 high speed interface. It is supported in systems with Windows Vista/XP/2000 Operating system operating systems. With the help of this USB provided along with the modem you can be connected to the internet through any laptop or PC supported with the above mentioned Operating Systems.

Coming to the price, the AD3700 with USB modem comes at $79.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate (A refund of some fraction of the amount paid) and signing up for 2-year agreement on mobile broadband plan.
